Biography

Dr. Cheville received her M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School in 1993 and her Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. Her areas of clinical and research interest are lymphedema and cancer rehabilitation, palliative medicine, and patient-reported outcomes. She is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Palliative Care. She has received funding from the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, and the U.S. Department of Defense. She was elected to the National Institute of Medicine in October 2016.
